Next up on the blog is the lovely Faye from Wild Calligraphy!
Faye has been a wedding business friend of mine for a long while and we’ve worked together on lots of different projects and shoots, so I was super excited when she asked me to do the photography for one of her amazing calligraphy workshops!
Knowing Faye and her love for details, I knew that it was going to be a super fun day and I was really excited to capture one of her sell-out workshops for her.
I love capturing event photography and people doing what they love, so shooting a workshop, event or a launch is definitely something I enjoy doing and having professional photography for your event is a great way to sell and showcase what you do in a relaxed and informal way!
Faye usually runs her calligraphy workshops twice a year with one in spring and one in winter in Nottingham. You have the option of booking a nib and ink workshop or a brush workshop, no matter which one you choose, you’ll receive a easy handbook to work from, a kit with calligraphy supplies, hands on advice from Faye and some gorgeous edible treats from a local small business bakery!
